Doing laundry with Kim 101

Tuesday, October 26th, 2004

Don’t you hate it when the label says “Hang to Dry” but you put it in the dryer anyway for a few minutes just to get the wrinkles out (because you don’t iron) and you forget to take it out after a few minutes? Now your size medium is a size extra small.

Country music can bite me.

Monday, October 25th, 2004

I rode the whole way back from Colorado with my intriguing mother. My mom and dad started listening to country music ever since they moved out on a ranch when I was in college.  I guess that did it. (I thought the golden oldies were way better.) Anyway, back to the trip home.

Every single country [...]

My boss just quit.

Friday, October 22nd, 2004

I came back from my trip to Colorado during Fall Break and my boss dropped a bomb on us – he announced his resignation – effective Nov. 1. We were stunned, shocked, speechless. After 10 years at the university, he just up and leaves. He accepted a job at OSU as the new Director of [...]

Which File Extension are You?

I LACK SUBSTANCE AND AM ANNOYING??? What a dumb quiz. But I like the fun flashy stuff. Woo hoo.

I found this neat little quiz over on bbspot. Here’s me:
Which File Extension are You?
Kim and Molly are on their way back today. I can’t wait until they get here, because it’s been… weird, for lack of a better term, without them around. I heard Molly was a holy terror in CO. Hopefully, she’ll calm [...]

Off to Colorado

Friday, October 15th, 2004

My sister and I and our 3 kids will be travelling to Colorado tomorrow. Wish us luck as we cram into her minivan for the adventure of a lifetime. Be back Tuesday!

So…the debates

Tuesday, October 12th, 2004

I watched the second Presidential debate in its entirety. I was blown away at how political candidates are very childish and back-stabbing. The debates are very “he said, she said” focused and also very tattle-tale like. “Well, President Bush went against his promise in the first election…”, and “Senator Kerry is the most liberal man [...]

I found a second bible!

Friday, October 8th, 2004

I was made aware today of the possibility of a second bible in existence. I believe this bible is located in Elk City. This particular bible lays out every word a Christian can and cannont say, including different parts of the body (for example – another word for your rear end that you can’t say [...]

Always go for the underdog

Wednesday, October 6th, 2004

Check out Vegas’ latest “boxing” match, K-1. Rick Roufus is the guy on the left and he’s fighting Taro Akebono. Guess who won? If you guessed, Roufus, you win!

I’m 3-1 with my FF league. I’m doing much better than I thought I would. Kim’s not too happy, because I’ve found else to do now that [...]

Things are changing…

Tuesday, October 5th, 2004

So we switched blog programs to Expression Engine. I don’t know much about any of them but this one seems to be cooler than Movable Type because it cuts down on stupid SPAM commenting – which I loathe. So, I’m in the process of redesigning the blog too -whenever I have time – which is [...]
